Ideas shouldn`t be lost
A lightweight desktop utility for creating digital notes directly on your Windows screen.
It brings the aesthetic and simplicity of paper sticky notes to your workspace, backed by total data safety so no idea ever gets lost.
inNote is an aesthetic tool designed for quickly capturing ideas, reminders, and daily notes directly on your desktop. The utility replicates the feel of real paper: from curved edge masks and handwritten typography to natural sheet rotation and custom right-click navigation. Operating silently in the background via the system tray, it supports multi-monitor setups, global hotkeys, and on-the-fly language switching. Under the hood, smart auto-scaling fits text seamlessly within note borders, while data protection is guaranteed through atomic JSON writing with automatic backup recovery.
Following an initial experience in game development, C# and WPF desktop engineering was chosen as the second step into the .NET ecosystem. Moving into this domain required an entirely different mindset. Building a custom borderless UI, bypassing Windows event routing constraints, designing decoupled data layers, and constructing resilient persistence systems all had to be learned from scratch. While challenging and non-trivial at times, building every mechanism by hand provided a deep foundational understanding of application architecture.
The product reached full production readiness after undergoing comprehensive testing and storefront packaging. However, insurmountable infrastructure and financial roadblocks with international payment platforms emerged during the publishing phase. The official commercial release has been temporarily paused while alternative avenues are explored. Confronting distribution logistics highlighted the need to expand further and build a personal web platform—leading logically to the next step: diving into web development, a completely new, daunting, yet exciting domain.
